Paul Hughes

I’ve always loved having a microphone in my hand since I was young. I’ve worked on many holiday parks as an entertainer, so DJing and presenting is like a normal job to me. I’ve also presented on another community radio station down in Somerset, so I’ve been around a bit.

I really enjoy music and making people happy and radio brings the two together. I’m always at my happiest when I’m on the radio. I get such a kick out of people enjoying my show and the thought of them dancing around their living rooms.

Haha, this is actually my third time presenting at Radio Warrington so it must be good. It’s a fantastic station for the community with loads of local information. The presenters are great and we always have a laugh.

I used to gig as a singer and have worked with many famous celebrities. I’ve also got a signed bendy Bully given to me by Jim Bowen.
